The brand I wished existed
Willow & Thorn started with a simple frustration: it’s far too hard to find piercing jewellery you can actually trust.
If you’ve ever squinted at a label that says “surgical steel” and wondered is this actually safe? Same. I’ve got around thirty-five piercings, and I’ve felt the sting of the wrong metal more times than I’d like to admit: angry lobes, bumps that won’t settle, the tell-tale itch of a nickel reaction. It shouldn’t be this confusing to put something safe in your own body.
So I made the brand I wished existed.
Implant-grade, or nothing
Every single Willow & Thorn piece is implant-grade ASTM F-136 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI), the same material used in surgical implants. It’s nickel-free, inert, lightweight, and it won’t tarnish. It’s the standard reputable piercers use for fresh piercings, and honestly, it’s the only thing I’d wear in mine.
No vague “surgical steel.” No mystery alloys. Just certified titanium, with the test reports to back it up.
Botanicals meet titanium
The name says it all: something soft and growing, set in something strong and enduring. Our pieces are made to be layered, collected and lived in. A curated ear that grows with you, like a garden.
We keep things considered and low-waste, too, from recyclable packaging to jewellery built to last rather than tarnish and be tossed.
